Who runs this library?
This is a bit difficult to answer, as I maintain many names and roles, but you can just call me moth! However, I maintain a very behind-the-scenes, and you may see much of my work here, but the dog really running the show is Bently! He is a friendly, gentle, and silly little retriever/mutt with two antennas-leaves on his head.
Why Does this website exist? why a library?
First, the potential aesthetic of libraries are unmatched. I feel that dark academia in combination with the aesthetics of punk, the furry fandom, and old internet culture are a perfect combination of my personl aesethics.
Second, the vibes of a internet is how I want to present my life online: in a relaxing, quiet, and organized manner.
Third, and probably most important, the actual function of a library is reflective of the goals I want to accomplish with this website. Libraries are not just a collection of books. They are a space that host a variety of art, resources, technology, and more. Thats what I want to create on the internet.
